Mission & Identity
The Kampo Fellowship (KF) serves as the executive body of the New York Kampo Institute (NYKI), advancing its mission to preserve, develop, and disseminate the tradition of Kampo medicine throughout North America and internationally.
The Fellowship is composed of a distinguished network of licensed healthcare professionals with extensive clinical experience in Kampo medicine and the broader disciplines of East Asian Medicine. Each Fellow has completed advanced training under Nigel Dawes in the Kampo tradition and has been personally appointed in recognition of their clinical expertise, commitment to education, and dedication to preserving the integrity of Kampo practice.
Located throughout the United States and Canada, the Fellows collectively form the Kampo Fellowship Faculty, working together to educate the next generation of practitioners, advance clinical standards, foster collaboration, and support the continued evolution of Kampo medicine while remaining rooted in its traditional principles.
